Title IX Mandatory STUDENT Online Training
Welcome to 新澳门六合彩资料's online mandatory student sexual misconduct prevention training program. California State University, Long Beach is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning and working environment for all students. To this end, we are requiring a mandatory online training to ensure students understand their rights, University resources, and prevention efforts regarding sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, rape, and stalking.
The information in the online training may raise questions and concerns for those who are survivors of sexual misconduct. For confidential support regarding sexual misconduct, including sexual assault, please contact at Advocate@csulb.edu or 562.985.2668. Access and Instructions
Please follow the steps below to access the training:
- Access the with your campus ID number and password
Select the "CSU Learn" chiclet from the home menu
Image- Once redirected, select "Assigned Learning" on the bottom left of CSU Learn.
- You may complete the training in one session, approximately 30-45 minutes. If you choose to complete the training in multiple sessions, you may stop and save your training at any time.
- When you are finished, the site provides a Certificate of Completion. Please print or save and retain a copy for your records. If you have a registration hold because of this training requirement, the hold will be removed after one full business day. Please be sure to factor the 1 business day to process training completions into your registration appointment dates.
The training program is compatible with most desktop computers, laptops, and tablets and requires a stable internet connection. For technical service and assistance regarding training access, please contact OECtraining@csulb.edu
For University questions regarding registration holds, campus and community resources, and the Title IX reporting process please contact Equity & Compliance at OECtraining@csulb.edu or 562.985.8256. When contacting Equity & Compliance, please have the following information available:
- Full legal name
- Your student identification number
- Next term you are expected to start classes (as some students are contacting us regarding future enrollment dates)
- Your contact information (phone & Email)
- Screenshot of screen (for troubleshooting)
- If requesting a hold release, you MUST provide a copy of your completion certificate to OEC via email (OECTraining@csulb.edu) or hardcopy (Foundation Building, Suite 160)
The online employee prevention trainings listed below are required by federal, state, and University policy to train employees on appropriately preventing, identifying, and reporting forward discrimination, harassment, and retaliation ().
1. CSU EMPLOYEE Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program
This is a 30-45 minute mandatory training completed every year by employees who do not manage employees or student workers. You may take this training in one sitting or stop and save as you go. This training is required, by the Chancellor, of all employees (Staff, Faculty, Managers, and Student Employees) every year. It is mandated by federal law and annual completion is required. We encourage you to maintain a copy your certificate of completion for your department鈥檚 records.
2. CSU EMPLOYEE Sexual Harassment Prevention Program
- All employees will be assigned the new Sexual Harassment Prevention (SHP) training to be completed through the CSU Learn training system.
- Training must be completed within 30 days.
- This training is unique from the Title IX/Sexual Misconduct prevention training that many have already completed.
Non-Supervisors
This is a 30-45 minute mandatory training completed every year by employees who do not manage employees or student workers. You may take this training in one sitting or stop and save as you go. This training is required, by the Chancellor, of all employees (Staff, Faculty, Managers, and Student Employees) every year. It is mandated by federal law and annual completion is required. We encourage you to maintain a copy your certificate of completion for your department鈥檚 records.
Supervisors
This is a 2-hour mandatory training required every other year for employees who supervise one or more employees, including student workers. You may take this training in one sitting or stop and save as you go. We encourage you to maintain a copy your certificate of completion for your department鈥檚 records.
Supervisors are required to complete both the employee training as well as this additional supervisor training. If you are required to take this training, you will be contacted via e-mail. If you believe you have been assigned this training in error, please email OEC@csulb.edu or call Equity & Compliance at 562.985.8256 during the 8AM-5PM business hours.
3. Clery EMPLOYEE Campus Security Authority Training
Some employees are identified under the Jeanne Clery Act as Campus Security Authorities (CSA). CSAs will receive notice of their status from the Office of Equity & Compliance and will be required to complete this training annually. If you are unsure of your status as a CSA, contact your supervisor or the Office of Equity & Compliance.
4. Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) Training
Pursuant to Executive Order 1083, all 新澳门六合彩资料 volunteers who work with children are required to complete CSU's systemwide CANRA online training. Additionally, all 新澳门六合彩资料 MPP's are required to complete the CANRA training once every three years to ensure federal and state child abuse reporting compliance requirements are followed.

- Before launching the SHP training click the word "Register" (and not the drop-down arrow)
- Please make sure to keep the tracking window open while your training is in progress. You can minimize it, but do not close it. The window will close automatically at the end of the training. if you close the tracking window prematurely, you may lose your progress and the training system may fail to record course completion.
Access Instructions
- Ensure you are using a compatible browser (Recommended: Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome) and disable your pop-up blocker
- Access the with your campus ID number and password
- Select the "CSU Learn" chiclet from the home menu
- Once logged in, there is a two minute video tutorial on the landing page for how to use the training system
- Select the Assigned Training button on the bottom left of the screen
- Select the training you wish to complete - you must complete the entire training and you will receive email reminders until you do so
Note: Student Assistants will not have access via the Single Sign-On page. Student Assistants will receive a direct hyperlink from their supervisor to access the required training and will need to log in using their student email account.

When I launch training, I see a blank white window.
Please note that Internet Explorer is not supported by CSU Learn. Please use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox instead.
When I launch training, I see some squares and an 鈥渋n progress鈥 message.
CSU Learn launches training in two windows: the content window and the tracking window. This 鈥渋n progress鈥 screen is the tracking window. Please minimize the tracking window and see if the course content is available in any other open windows. If you still can鈥檛 find the course content, please disable your popup blocker and re-launch the training.
I can鈥檛 find the START button.
Please click on the word REGISTER instead. The START button will become visible after you register.
I already completed the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program. Do I need to complete the Discrimination Harassment Prevention Program?
Yes. All state employees are required to complete both of these programs.
I received a training email notification, but the links in the email aren鈥檛 working for me.
