AJ Jadalla

Ahlam Jadalla, PhD, RN, EBP-C, WAN, FAAN

AJ Jadalla is a Professor of Nursing at California State University Long Beach School of Nursing. Dr. Jadalla’s primary areas of expertise and impact are evidence-base translation, quality of care for patients with cancer and their caregivers, and immigrants’ health. As a faculty member, she has expanded access to nursing education through several initiatives including developing an accelerated online RN-BSN program and expanding online course offerings. She collaborated with two healthcare systems to develop structures and processes to facilitate and accelerate the translation of evidence into practice. She serves at the Oncology Nursing Society Putting Evidence into Practice teams and is the Governor of Practice on the Western Institute of Nursing Board. The impact of her work is widely cited and continues through her mentorship of students and nurses.
