Dr. Nash鈥檚 research interests are concentrated in white-collar crime, terrorism, and counter-terrorism. Her research in these areas has an interdisciplinary focus drawing from the fields of criminology, sociology, and economics, especially through network theory and diffusion theory in understanding dark networks. Dr. Nash鈥檚 teaching focus is in quantitative research methods using a variety of methodological applications, including social network analysis and statistical analysis. Recent research includes counter-terrorism policy evaluations and the rise of hate crimes within right-wing extremist groups in the U.S. Dr. Nash is an avid toy collector, hiker, and amateur astrophotographer.
