Quit Smoking & Vaping Services

Free support services are available for students including: 

  • Free Quit Kit
  • One-on-One Health Education appointments
  • Nicotine Replacement Therapy (Patches, Gum) or Non-Nicotine Medication (Zyban)
  • Lozenges

Narcan Distribution Program

Student Health Services now offers free NARCAN (naloxone) and fentanyl testing strips. NARCAN is a medication that can be used in emergency situations when an opioid overdose is suspected. NARCAN is a medication that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose.

Any аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ student that would like free NARCAN must complete a short with a Health Educator at Student Health Services.  This training can also be completed by clicking the following training link below.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING

Linda Pena is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor is available for individual counseling. Student Health Services is currently offering Zoom Telehealth appointments for substance use counseling.

BEACH RECOVERY

In addition to education and prevention, the ATOD Program supports establishing a collegiate recovery community. Through a collegiate recovery community, we aim to educate people about addiction to help remove the stigma and teach our community the facts about this disease.
