Grievance Process
The grievance or faculty status dispute process is a formal process through which an employee can address an action of management that may be in violation of a collective bargaining agreement. The process consists of a series of steps through which an employee can present his/her grievance or dispute to progressively higher levels of management for resolution.
The goals of this process is to interpret the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement, to apply the agreement to new and changing aspects of our campus relations, and to protect the rights of employees, management and employee organizations.
