Immersive Learning Experience: "Borderlands"
新澳门六合彩资料 faculty, students, and staff are invited to the ISPACE for an early preview of a new, interactive VR experience that challenges participants to reflect on concepts of bravery, resistance, and cultural identity.

Drawing inspiration from Gloria Anzald煤a鈥檚 seminal book, , this learning experience explores complex themes related to identity, colonialism, and cultural duality. Students from the Anthropology Department's New Media Ethnography class will present their development process and facilitate the VR game demonstration where participants will navigate between scenes in a 3D virtual world.
This project is part of an initiative funded through a Beach 2030 grant, one of several immersive learning modules to be implemented during the Spring 2025 semester in the College of Liberal Arts.
