MSMA Program Cost

Tuition is approximately $20,500 for the 30-unit program for Fulltime California Resident students and approximately $32,400 for Fulltime Non-California Residents. For Part-time California Residents and students, tuition is approximately  $23,800, and approximately $35,500 for Part-time Non-California Residents. You should refer to Tuition and Fees for complete information on all tuition and fees. MSMA students are required to attend an orientation on campus at the beginning of the program.

There is no cost for the Orientation or the two-day Bootcamp that covers a Statistics review and Analytics software.

Tuition does not include the cost of books, on-campus parking, and other incidentals.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships in the College of Business are targeted to our MBA/MS students. Opportunities include working as a research assistant for a faculty member or as a graduate assistant for a department or program. Other types of assistantships that depend on students’ areas of expertise are also available.  

Scholarships

Tuition and fees represent only a part of your total education costs, which include items such as books, supplies, and living expenses. At Cal State Long Beach, the following elements are included in standard Cost of Attendance estimates:

  • Tuition and Mandatory Fees
  • Living Expenses (Housing and Food)
  • Books, Course Materials, Supplies, and Equipment
  • Transportation
  • Miscellaneous Personal Expenses
  • Federal Student Loan Fees

Except for tuition, mandatory fees, and on-campus housing, all other components of Cost of Attendance are based on the data from the Student Expenses and Resources Survey administered by the California Student Aid Commission.
